Being Grateful is key

We are new to the RV Life and loving it. As we showered yesterday evening, CJ and I talked about how we will act when we have to be around people with similar interest. It’s funny to think that we are in such an incredible place, and not just living, but life itself. Minimal expenses, a cute little RV and 4 doggos which we love dearly. This life is not for the weak, this life is hard. And not just hard to live, but hard to mentally get ready for. We have very few luxury’s, very few regular amenities like a house would have. At the present time, we cook, work and bathe outside. Yes, we have our trailer which is over 20 years old and the electrical and water somewhat work but no gas inside, gas lines are damaged so basically we sleep and store our stuff in our trailer.

Our road to this point was hard, lots of individuals not understanding our path, we actually trained to be with out utilities like A/C and water and light before we left our home. Yes, it was difficult and it was only a few months but it gave us such a grateful perspective on what we really were looking to do. I am happy for each moment then and especially for every moment now. Check out a few of the animals we get to see and the beautiful sky we get to sit and enjoy every day. Be grateful for every moment, be happy for each sun rise and set, love yourself, your kids and your partner as if today was the only day, because truly it is. ON THE ROAD AGAIN…

Heading out on the road to Alice, Texas, doing some yard work on a small piece of land. Well, of course, not me but CJ…he works very hard for us everyday and I am extremely grateful. As we travel, we are also in a time of spiritual fasting. This will prove to be a challenge this time around, as CJ is doing some hard work through this one. We are aware it may be difficult but we must start nonetheless. Being out here for this trip, we have decided not to rent a motel and rough it in a tent. We placed our trailer under our pop-up tent to get our mattress off the ground. Our set up was nice, I was very comfortable and the property is very cute, it is 5 miles but a good site. I posted a video as we traveled up to Alice and talked more about my journey with this website for Coffee, and some shows we watch on survival and making it in the wild. This of course was nothing compared to some of those shows but we are thinking we might start practicing some of our skills out here in Moore. More to some on our survival skills work and how our fast went. Keep watching for more details on these and other fun things we are planning.

Full Time RV’ing

So we are full time RV’ers now and its been a journey for sure. Challenges have come and gone, some more challenging then others, but we have managed. At the present we are working as ranch hands on a 30 acre land and its been fun. We will be working on other pieces of property soon and getting out a little more. We are having to balance our travel adventures with the fact that we have 4 fur babies and have to take into account taking them along with us. So far, its been great traveling with them around town, no upset tummies.

I have my own YouTube channel that I document my days thoughts or challenges that we have had to deal with. Please join us and follow along as we continue to take on each day with joy, love and gratitude. Here is our video on our move in day to the trailer. It’s been a time dealing with the issues we have had with the trailer and the fact that I am also renovating in a way the interior. I am having fun with it and learning a lot about myself and my patience level…of which I have none. LOL!

The Stress is getting me…

One week in and I was feeling so stressed,. Since then, we have resolved our water issue. Showers are more often now and that is a great thing…LOL!! We are working on the interior to get it built out the way we need and of course it will be much prettier than what we started out with. Propane is an issue, we did figure out why we can’t get our stove working and are working to resolve that. The stove is not a rush since I purchased an outdoor propane stove. The restroom in our RV is doing good, we are able to use the shower but with out hot water we have to time our showers on warms days taking showers in the middle of the day to have warm water. Our host also purchased an outdoor solar shower and this thing is great I love it, and the water gets just the right temperature and its so refreshing.
