In North Dakota
So we are in North Dakota working the Beet Harvest and have down time right now. So we have been cooking big breakfast meals, since we can. We know soon there will not be time to cook fresh warm meals, so I am truly taking advantage of this time. Todays menu, was biscuits, gravy, deer sausage, fresh potatoes and eggs. Enjoying the down time. The chaos starts soon.

Let’s get this page started!! So we live full time in an old RV and we love it. Lucille, (named loving because of the Walking Dead) is not beautiful by no means but she takes care of us. But the fact that she is old, she did come with a few issues, like a broken propane line to the stove. Which in this Texas heat is okay. I cook outside with a small 2 burner camping stove and a burn barrel for items that need a longer cooking time. It’s been a learning process on how to cook out here and how to find the right time to cook in the Texas sun. And with saying all that I have managed to make some great meals out here. There has also been an opportunity, since we are on 30 acres of forest type environment, we have had the chance to try different game. It’s been a fun and interesting journey just on the cooking front. Check out some of the amazing items we have had out here.
