Meet Stuart “Look What I Can Do”
This is Stuart, he is are very cute but very annoying Jack Russell Chihuahua mix, or so we believe. He is named after Stuart from Mad TV, why you ask well let me tell you. Stuart was found by my husband, CJ when he was a tiny little big head puppy. He was stuck in a thorny bush in his dads back yard. How he got there we are not sure. But CJ asked me if I wanted him and he came home with me. I already had a small Chihuahua named Sugar who was much older almost 9 years old so she was not to be bothered. Well Stuart came home and as CJ was leaving that night he asked me what are you going to name him…I was not sure. I knew he would let me know his name in time. As CJ walks out the door Stuart proceeds to hump Sugar who was having none of it. We both laughed and said there it is, his name is Stuart, Look what I can do!
Stuart has been a surprise since the day he came home. He never left my side, he was always getting stepped on because he would not move out of my way. He also loves dancing, I use to turn up my music in my apartment and start dancing and he would come and jump up as if to dance. So I started grabbing his front paws and he would just jump around with me as if he was dancing too. He then quickly learned to jump on the sofa and bed to find his spot and sleep all day. I would leave him home all day while I was at work and I felt as if he just got up to do his business and go right back to the exact same spot I left him. I soon discovered one evening he is frightened of thunder and lighting. He will not leave my side at all when it is storming. He will be any where away from me and all of a sudden be right at my feet when he starts hearing rumbles. Now that we are out here on the ranch he is a working dog. He is always looking and tracking down mice, rabbits, frogs, and anything small and crawling on the ground or in the branch piles. He knows when we tell “Stuart go get it” it’s time to work and get the mice around our trailer. He’s a good boy and is always busy. Our big girl Xochi tries to play with him but he gets upset with her when he is working, he will bark and growl at her to leave him alone. He is a little character for sure.
Meet Nyx
Hey, this is Nyx, I call her Nyxie. She is about 4 year old Chihuahua, she is about 6 pounds wet and does pretty much nothing but sleep. She does not like being alone, always needs to be near us and loves laying with mom. I’ll say she is rather photogenic and did some good shoots in my gym. Here are a few pictures of her.
Stay tuned we will meet Vixen our red….well vixen. LOL
Meet Xochitl
Hello all, this is Xochitl. She is a very rambunctious 8-month old German Shepard. Her father named her because he wanted a name with power and spirituality. She is beautiful and very much the outcast with our crew. The others are older and like just settling down in their spots and that’s pretty much it. She loves playing, jumping and fetching. We find her every now and then entertaining herself. Here is some cute footage of her playing with some rope we left out.
