Moon Time

  • Get your moon water ready

    Strawberry Moon -June 11, 2025

This Wednesday the 11th of June will be our next full moon – the Strawberry Moon. Name for the time period when the berries are ripe. But what is the meaning behind the strawberry moon. Like with all full moons, this is the best time to reflect and renew yourself. With this moon you will feel a more subtle burst of energy coming from within. A great time to listen to the things that are working and those that are not should be let go. An incredible time to manifest your dreams and goals and feel the energy flow through you. I recommend sit under the moon light and speak your words, your goals, your dreams and you will feel the warmth of the abundance flow through you.

And don’t forget your moon water. Prepare it and leave under the moonlight, remove before the sun comes up and drink first thing in the morning!!

Water – bringer of Life

What do you know about water? Besides that we need it to survive. We need it to cleanse and cook. Water can bring so many things to our lives. But in this article I want to talk about different types of source water used in different rituals and ceremonies.

For me, I use water to heal and to replenish and cleanse my spirit and self. One type of water I use most often is Moon Water. Moon water gathers the light of the moon in the evening to bring in light and power. Moon water is used to calm your spirit and sooth emotions. I typically set a small mason jar out under the full moon to collect the energy. That morning I will gather my Moon Water before the sun is up and set my intentions and affirmations for what ever period of time I choose and drink my water. You, do not have to drink your water right away, you can keep your Moon Water in the mason jar if you like.

Another type of intention or ceremony water is Sea Water. Sea Water is used in the spiritual society to cleans, purify and remove negative and unwanted energies. I typically carry a jar with me if I know we are going near any body of water and collect from the source. Some do use Epsom salt or different type of salt baths to create this same type of environment to heal. I like collect from the source, just my preference. Sea Water can be added to your bath, foot soak or used in rituals and ceremonies to help those heal.

There are many other types of waters that can be used and harvested from source but here is the 3rd type I typically work with. Rain Water, which is my favorite. Rain Water can be collected from the rain and then charged for even more healing under the moon light. Rain Water is used to cleanse, renewal, growth and abundance. Think of the rain and what happens when it rains. It washed away that which is no longer needed or a surface layer to bring forth new growth. This is what rain water can do for your spirit and your healing. Rain Water can be used to cleanse crystals and your spaces. Set your intentions and prepare your home, office or where ever you need it and spay the area as you speak your words.

There are many other types of waters that can be used – Holy Water, Spring Water, River Water, Sacred Waters. But if you plan on using waters as a spiritual medium, you can store them. Be sure to have a glass container that has a tight seal, glass does not allow other particles to disturb the water that you have harvested. Store the waters in a dark dry place to keep the energy abundant. You may freeze waters that can be consumed. And you can always recharge your waters under the moon light. Have fun and always speak your words with confidence.
